In this category I include all dog and cat shows except family fun days. Crufts is the epitome of dog shows. I went one year and in a way I’m glad I did. At least no- one can say I don’t know what I’m talking about.People having pets as a status- symbol is disgusting. Have a pet because you are both going to benefit from it. All the preening, grooming, washing, mauling that goes in is atrocious. I am sick of seeing people constantly hauling a dog’s legs into the ‘correct’ standing position. Leave the bloody things alone and let them have a normal dog’s life.
