How did you decide on your vet school? I will be applying to vet school next year but I don't know which to apply to. I think I want to apply to Edinburgh because it is nearer to home than the rest (I’m from Newcastle) and I love the city. How did you decide which school to apply to?
Katie NewsonThe answer to that is very simple; I applied to all of them! At the time I went to university if you didn’t put all the schools down you would not get looked at because it would be assumed you didn’t want it enough. Things have changed now and I’m pretty sure you are not allowed to put all choices as vet schools. I would have been happy to go wherever I could because I wanted it so desperately. Edinburgh is an excellent university and a great city so go for it but if you really want the job then you should put as many vet schools on the form as you are allowed to. Good luck!
