My dream is to be a vet. At the moment I am into my second year of National Diploma in Animal Care, my dream is to become a Vet, but whether I have the brains is another thing! I was wondering if you could help me about what to take as the next step? What did you do after finishing school? Any help would be really appreciated. Stefanie IngramI didn’t get a place at university after school so I took a year off and worked on two farms and then did voluntary work at local vets for 3 months. I wrote a case- book of everything I saw and sent it to all the universities to show them that I wasn’t going to go away! That sealed it and I got 2 offers the following year. The most important thing is to show that you are totally dedicated and make sure you stand out from the crowd.
