What equine charities can I volunteer for? Hey! I am currently taking a Gap year and I'm off to RVC in September to study vet med. I've spent my gap year working mainly on farms and at vets in order to gain more practical experience and get a place at university! I was reading about the work you have done with animal charities and I would love to do some volunteer work this summer, although not necessarily abroad. I'm really interested in working in the equine field and was wondering if you could suggest any volunteer prospects here in the UK? Thanks xx Katie Congratulations on your place at vet school. I’m sure there are many equine charities in this country and abroad that would be grateful of your help. I would think the best thing to do would be to do a search on the internet and then contact the ones that are accessible to you and see if they are interested. I don’t really know much about specific charities for equines except Brooke. Their contact number is in the charities section of the site if you are interested. Don’t work too hard, you’ve got plenty of that to come! Emma
