I wanted to tell you about the SOFA mascot, who is a rescued greyhound that the children at our school call Mr Bobby!  He is a very gentle and very welcome visitor to school each week where he 'listens' to children read and visits our nursery department for the children to be introduced to dogs and spend time with them.  Bobby is a firm favourite and the children certainly look forward to his visits and he always welcomes them with much wagging! At the last visit Bobby had a queue of young children waiting patiently, cross-legged on the carpet!  The children say that he makes them feel happy and comfortable and that he doesn't mind if he makes a mistake!

Poppy
Cocker Spaniel

My family have a black cocker spaniel called Poppy and she is sooo adorable. We got her from her last owner, Jessica, who couldn't cope because Jessica also had to young children. My mum and dad arragned it but didn't tell me or my brother so we didn't know until Poppy was actually in my home.

She is 4 now and she loves licking people and having her tummy rubbed, as well as chasing her ball. She also snores REALLY LOUDLY and she occasionally howls in her sleep. She is also pregnant at this moment in time and the father is her boyfriend Oscar (also a black cocker spaniel) and they have known eachother since they were 1 and a half.

This is Lilly ... the dog of my life.

A Tibet-Mix from Mallorca. Lilly is intelligent and cuddly...loves chilling on the couch or action what means running next to my horses.
